Ventilating multiple patients on a single ventilator: Statement from the French Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR)
2020, Anaesthesia Critical Care and Pain MedicineSimultaneous transport of twin newborns
2013, Air Medical JournalCitation Excerpt :We believe that data on singleton transported newborns are out of the scope of this article and would only be useful to compare them with those related to simultaneous twin transport newborns. Most of the evidence that could support this intervention comes from small observational studies in the field of neonatal transport medicine, and we are not aware of reports in the literature concerning experience with simultaneously transporting twin newborns.9,10 In emergency settings, like emergency twin newborn transport, neither state-of-the-art mechanical ventilation nor critical care support are fully achieved or established.
