    Duration of Avea ventilator operation on the internal battery, with and without the compressor; with pressure control or volume control; and at positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) of zero or 20 cm H2O. The battery-duration differences with and without the compressor were statistically significant (P ≤ .001).
