    Ultrasonography image of the right hemidiaphragm obtained in zone of apposition with (A) and without labeling (B). The diaphragm can be identified as a 3-layered structure superficial to the liver, consisting of pleural and peritoneal membranes and the muscle itself. In B, crosses indicate the thickness of the diaphragm.
