Abstract

In contrast to dissecting aneurysm of the aorta, dissecting aneurysm of the pulmonary trunk (PT) is rare.1–14 Most often it affects patients with congenital heart disease with pulmonary hypertension. None of the 14 previously reported cases was recognized during life, and all 14 patients died soon after the onset of symptoms. Herein, we describe another patient with dissection of the PT.
