In the paper, “Decreasing the Adverse Effects of Endotracheal Suctioning During Mechanical Ventilation by Changing Practice” by Salvatore Maurizio Maggiore, François Lellouche, Claudia Pignataro, Emmanuelle Girou, Bernard Maitre, Jean-Christophe M Richard, et al [Respir Care 2013 58(10):1588–1597; doi:10.4187/respcare.02265], the units given on page 1590 were incorrect. The correct units are cm H2O, rather than mm Hg. The bulleted sentence should read:
The suction pressure had to be set between 200 and 250 cm H2O.17,25,27,28.
